Hand numbness can have many causes. At our clinic, we consider not only physical factors but also emotional stress and joint function.

In traditional East Asian medicine, a condition known as “Heart Qi Deficiency” may develop after significant emotional stress or psychological pressure.

Interestingly, symptoms often do not appear immediately after the stressful event.

Instead, they may occur after the situation has resolved, when the individual finally relaxes.

Numbness in the hands or feet, weakness, and other symptoms may develop the following day or several days later.

In more severe cases, symptoms may be accompanied by palpitations, shortness of breath, or cold sweats.

We evaluate both physical and emotional factors to better understand the underlying cause and provide individualized treatment.
